We tried our best to provide our users with numerous options and methods to help out, please review the serveral methods for participating below and choose the one that is right for you.
Prevent Abuse
This section aims to provide guidelines to problems that both residents in Egypt, and tourists visiting the country, might face in regards to animal welfare and animal abuse.
We all play a major role in stopping abuse anywhere we go: stop the abusers by speaking to them; avoid places where animals are abused; write about what you see, take photos.

Download these laws (in Arabic) and keep them with you at all times. This is a very important and effective way to prevent animal abuse.
Methods for getting involved
- Donations:
- Animal haven is a non-for-profits organization, all proceeds will go to the wellfare of animals under the supervision of animal haven.

- Sponsors:
- ensure there is freedom to exercise in a safe place, such as a fenced garden away from busy roads and traffic.
- provide a clean and comfortable bed.
- groom your pet regularly, long-haired breeds require daily grooming to avoid matting.
- Support & Contributions:
- vaccinate your pet against the major feline and canine diseases regularly; your vet can advise you.
- worm your pet regularly and provide treatment for fleas - seek advice from your vet.
- Volunteer:
- be prepared to take your pet to the vet if required, pet insurance can help offset the cost of treatment, which can be expensive.
- have time to play with your pet.
