Supporting the Shelter
There are numerous ways to lend your support not including financial support. if you wish to leave us a donation or finance one of the sponoring programs please head to the relevant page.
There are however, tons of ways you can contribute and support are organizaiton; if you aswell feel that you must be apart of the solution. Some of the methods are explained below. If what you want is not listed, don't hesitate to contact the shelter and explain your propossition. when contributing or volunteering you will get a recommendation letter and certificate signed by Nora El Daly for your work and much appreciated effort.
Verbal/Written Support
- Writers: Something new is always happening at the Shelter and in Egypt in regards to animals. We need writers to write about them, so we can post them on our website.
- Journalists: If you are a writers and would like to publish your work on animals and the state of animal welfare in Egypt, to send us their work to put in our resource library or as cover stories on our website.
- Media: Spread the message about animal welfare in Egypt via newspapers, magazines, television and media.
- Editors: We need editors to go over written work.
- Library: Write book, film and art reviews for our library.
Artistic Contributions
This program serves to help Animal Haven by creating awareness about animal welfare, and by raising funds that go directly to the Shelter or to an animal welfare activity of the your choice. If you are an artist, photographer, fashion, furniture or jewelry designer or produce anything that can be sold: this is the program for you!
- Photographers: Let the world see Animal Haven and the animal cruelty in Egypt. Please contact us to arrange how and when you would like to help. The more our animals are shown interacting with humans, the more the chances are that they can find loving homes.
- Artists: Contribute your pieces or artwork with Animal Haven, for decoration purposes or designs used for print or the web.
Volunteer and Contribute with your time
Animal lovers can come down to the shelter at any time to play with the animals and get them used to kind and loving human contact is one of the most important things you can do.
Sponsorship Coordinator Assist in coordinating Animal Haven's sponsorship program. Involves generating sponsors, as well as filling out sponsorship certificates and coordinating sponsorship fee collection and updating the sponsors about their animals
Adoption Coordinator Assist Animal Haven in placing our animals in good, loving homes. Involves correspondence and communication with interested adopters in regards to the animals.
Designers Responsible for creating print material for use in magazines (print ads), banners, posters, flyers and leaflets, using a given set of Animal Haven artworks
Dog Handlers Responsible for teaching dogs basic commands (sit, stay, heel, come)
