About Animal Haven
Animal Haven is a NGO (non-for-profit). While finding and taking in needy dogs and cats is easy, adoption and re-homing is far more difficult and fickle. We have many gorgeous animals that are in desperate need of a great home, love and affection. Breed dogs, mixes and mutts; pedigree cats and typical Egyptian maus, Animal Haven has them all. We encourage people to adopt, keep an open mind and think of those animals that need love and affection most. This site was created to provide its member with a constant flow of updates and pictures of all the lovely animals who desperately need love and a great home.

Established on the principles of the Ethical Treatment of all creatures big and small; we strive to create awareness of the deplorable treatment of animals here in Egypt, as well as provide care and shelter for those animals who need it most.
About Animal Haven Shelters
Animal Haven Shelters were at the heart of our operation since [INSERT DATE]. We accepted all animals in need: injured, abandoned or are in any other emergency. All new arrivals go through a thorough medical examination. Like humans, when an animal is sick, it is not vaccinated until the illness is cured. However, the animals are immediately vaccinated against rabies. The animal then goes through a quarantine period that depends on the seriousness of their case. During that time, we continue to assess and treat any special needs and illnesses, eventually nursing the animal back to recovery. The animal is then spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated, and is ready for adoption.
Amazing transformations have taken place at the Shelter, and there is always something a beautiful moment to counteract the heartache.Our vets have treated all kinds of animals in urgent need, and through care and dedication to rehabilitation, we have given many animals a new chance at life.
